1. During the Christmas Holiday period, two men from your unit were assigned a special project which required their services and skills on a very short time schedule. Both men, HACKLEY, Audley W., DC1, and LYNCH, John E., DC2, worked long hours, outside of normal working hours to finish the work in the time required. They completed the project in an outstanding manner, demonstrating in the process superior craftsmanship and splendid planning ability.

2. HACKLEY and LYNCH are to be commended for their exceptionally fine work, and selfless devotion to duty.

3. It is requested that a copy of this letter be placed in the service record of each man.
